The brands have been working in harmony since Sisis became a division of Howardson Ltd alongside Dennis earlier this year. Managing Director Ian Howard explains “Since January an enormous amount of hard work has been undertaken by all employed within the two divisions to ensure a successful and smooth integration of the brands. Saltex provides us with the ideal opportunity to exhibit and demonstrate a comprehensive range of British manufactured products”.
Featuring prominently on the stand will be Saltex favourite, the Dennis FT pedestrian mower series. Saltex has proved to be a highly successful show for Dennis with numerous sales especially of this mower range being made to clubs and local authorities over the years.
The FT offers the versatility that is essential for a busy club and local authority groundsmen. It features the renowned Dennis cassette system which allows the operator to fit a range of attachments from brushes and spikers to scarifiers and slitters, as well as a choice of five or nine blade reels. The speed and ease of changing cassettes has made the FT range a firm favourite. Models are available from 430 to 610mm cut.
Machine versatility and flexibility is also a key feature of the SISIS Combination and Towed Implement Frames. Suitable for natural and synthetic turf, they can be fitted with a variety of tools to carry out different maintenance tasks.
The mounted Combination Implement Frame allows up to four operations to be carried out simultaneously by fitting the implements to one, two, three or four part frames, while Agri-Jacks adjust the working intensity of the implements. Working widths are from 1.2m to 2.4m to meet the requirements of restricted access, all weather courts and larger open spaces and tools available from Sisis include rakes, spikers, brushes and rollers.
Designed for the daily maintenance of artificial surfaces, the Towed Implement Frame can be used behind a small tractor to tow brushes, rakes, flexicombs and a host of other 1.2m wide implements required to keep playing surfaces in tip top condition and prolong the life of the carpet. Manual and electric lift versions are available.
A selection of SISIS machinery will be in action on the large demonstration area allowing prospective parties the opportunity to assess the suitability for their particular application.
