It is reliable, easy to adjust and requires hardly any any maintenance. It saves staff a huge amount of time. The SSS1000 does the hard work for you.
I researched the Quadraplay and I’ve seen them in the press a lot. There was nothing but good reports about them so I thought it would be ideal for us. The Quadraplay allows you to alter settings easily to suit the task at hand,” continued Chris. You can put all four implements to play, or you could just use one of them - the versatility of it is incredible. It's also so strong, robust, and simple to use. I can get volunteers to drive it as well, which does help me a lot. Once it is setup, anybody can use it.
“The SISIS SSS1000 gets the job done - it’s quiet, easy to use and works equally well on synthetic and natural grass. That’s hard to find in a sweeper.”
“We wanted a machine that was robust, simple to use and gives us the quality finish that we require. The SVR 1500 cleans the surface, distributes the rubber evenly and leaves a good finish. I don’t want something that takes hours to set up with lots of buttons or settings. With this machine, it’s just so simple – If we don’t want to go too deep, we don’t have to. It’s simple to set the machine to how you want it. When you’ve got a big team, it’s important that the machines we use are staff friendly.”
The difference it’s made to our pitch has been remarkable. The fibres are standing up better than ever, the infill isn’t compacted and the playability has improved massively -something our players and managers have all commented on. For any club dealing with compacted surfaces or struggling to keep fibres upright, the OSCA is a game-changer.
I would recommend the OSCA to anyone looking to improve their synthetic turf. It has now become a staple in our synthetic turf maintenance.
“We play in the North West Counties Football League , Division 1 North . We bought the SISIS quadraplay on the back of getting a grant last summer. After an horrendously wet winter it has got us games on when in the past we had no chance . The finish it leaves for a game is second to none” Thanks to Richard Brown for sharing his images with us! The muddy photo shows the pitch after last weekends game. The balcony photo shows the pitch after some hard work by Richard which is back to a suitable condition for the next game.
Minimising surface disturbance from hole punching is critical to keep our players happy. The Aer-Aid does a fantastic job with the surfaces being playable following a light roll, straight behind the Aer-Aid
We didn’t look at anything else, The Mk5 is a staple piece of equipment for cricket clubs and there is nothing else to challenge it in my opinion.
Since I have had the MK5. I've been absolutely delighted with it. It delivers exactly what I want, it is comfortable to use and has plenty of power to undertake any of our key maintenance tasks.
The Auto Rotorake is just a brilliant machine which we are using on a fortnightly basis.
The Variseeder is incredibly fast and effective and we are seeing much better coverage and a more uniformed establishment compared to when we were doing it by hand.
“The whole seminar was really engaging and enthusiastic – the way the session is run gets everyone involved and makes things happen in the room. We’re a bit different because we’re a crown green club, so our challenges aren’t about keeping a perfectly flat surface like flat greens; it’s about managing the dips, swerves and basins that make the game tricky. What I took away from today is practical advice I can actually use. Things like the importance of regular spiking to get air, water and fertiliser down into the soil – something that often surprises people during the season. Even if it looks messy at first, it really helps the green in the long run. We’ve been to seminars before, but this one stood out. It’s packed with useful ideas and demonstrates how small, consistent improvements can make a big difference. It’s worth attending for anyone who wants to take their greenkeeping to the next level.”
A very informative day – I’ve never been to anything like it before. I started out helping on the green with almost no knowledge about how it worked, but the seminar was incredibly clear and easy to follow. I’ve come away with a solid plan to help improve our green and keep it in top condition going forward. A great experience for anyone looking to learn practical, hands-on greenkeeping skills.”
A fantastic day for networking with other like-minded people who face the same challenges we do. The seminar was packed with practical advice and insights and it’s great to share experiences and solutions with others in the same boat. I’d highly recommend it to anyone involved in greenkeeping – it’s not just about learning, it’s about connecting and taking away ideas you can actually use. We can’t wait for next year.
You are never too old and never too experienced to learn something new, there are always new techniques to discover. That could be through the practical demonstrations, through the talks or even by chatting to your fellow grounds staff because you find that you really do learn from one another. An event like this is a fantastic way to develop those networks and get to know other people who are having the same issues as you.
The day was full of really useful information throughout. I came to learn more about machinery and the proper way to use it, but I also picked up a lot about topdressing – I realised I’d been doing it wrong and now understand the better practices to follow with the machinery. A very worthwhile seminar.”
I’ve been on one of these seminars before, which was good, but this one has really taken things to another level. I’ve learned so much about the importance of aeration and how it’s all about prevention rather than cure going forward. The message of ‘little and often is the key’ really stood out to me. Sessions like this are invaluable for helping clubs like ours to understand what’s needed to keep our greens healthy and playable.”
Absolutely brilliant – a superb seminar and a real eye-opener. We usually do everything ourselves at Wanstead Bowls Club in Essex, so it was really important for us to learn more about the science behind it all. Lots of useful information to take away. There are a lot of clubs out there that need this kind of help, and it can be hard work getting them to wake up to the importance of greenkeeping.
