Dennis and SISIS recently teamed up with Jim Clarke Fine Turf Machinery and DLF Seeds to deliver a highly informative educational day at Prees Bowling Club, bringing together local bowling greenkeepers from across Shropshire to share best practice in fine turf care. Despite the wet weather, the event, which attracted a strong turnout from the regional bowls community covered a variety of key topics aimed at helping clubs improve their playing surfaces and maximise resources.

A successful equipment demonstration hosted by Campey Turf Care, Dennis and SISIS, earlier this year has led to the acquisition of a powerful new scarifier to support Staffordshire grounds teams.

SISIS, part of the Howardson Group, is gearing up for a major presence at GroundsFest 2025, where it will be exhibiting outdoors on stand OSA170 in the Centre Circle.
With a proud heritage in British manufacturing and a reputation for quality, performance and innovation, SISIS continues to be one of the most respected brands in the turf preparation and maintenance industry. Visitors to the stand can expect to see an impressive selection of equipment covering every aspect of turf care - from aeration and scarification to brushing, seeding and more.

Sunday, August 3rd saw turf professionals from across the region gather at the picturesque Oulton Park Cricket Club for the much-anticipated Cheshire Grounds Seminar, hosted by the Cheshire Association of Groundsmen.
