Visby Golf Club, located on the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea, is consistently ranked as Sweden’s number one golf course. With its spectacular coastal setting, immaculate fairways and smooth-rolling greens, it attracts golfers from across the world. But maintaining those standards under constant pressure takes experience, dedication and the right equipment.
For nearly two decades, Course Manager Petter Lindblad has been leading Visby through the unique challenges of its coastal location. “Our biggest challenges are excess water in the low points and the heavy play pressure. We need to work efficiently and quickly while maintaining high quality.”

This month, Tom Worthy, Regional Sales Director EMEA, travelled to Sweden to support our long-standing dealer HAKO at their special golf event, which brought together greenkeepers and course managers from across the country.

Two recent greenkeeping seminars held at Blaby Bowling Club in Leicestershire and Woodhall Town Spa in Lincolnshire proved to be a huge success, drawing bowls greenkeepers and volunteers from across the regions. Each event offered a full day of expert presentations, on-green demonstrations and the chance for attendees to share experiences and learn from one another.
