At SISIS, we know the strength of our global network lies in working closely with our dealers and the turf professionals they serve. This month, Tom Worthy, Regional Sales Director EMEA, travelled to Sweden to support our long-standing dealer HAKO at their special golf event, which brought together greenkeepers and course managers from across the country.
The day focused on helping turf professionals tackle the real challenges of course management, from compaction and thatch build-up to the increasing pressure to deliver consistent, sustainable playing surfaces with limited resources.

Held at Ombergs Golf Resort on the shores of Lake Vättern, the event attracted a wide range of attendees, from experienced course managers to newer greenkeepers eager to build their expertise.
Live demonstrations highlighted how SISIS pedestrian and tractor-mounted equipment support key maintenance practices:
• Aeration. Relieving compaction to promote healthier root growth and improve drainage.
• Scarification. Effective thatch management for consistent, high-quality surfaces.
• Brushing and grooming. Ensuring smooth, true surfaces with minimal disruption to play.

Delegates valued the chance to discuss their own course conditions with Tom and the HAKO team, exploring how SISIS equipment is designed for durability, serviceability and long-term performance.
“It was a real privilege to be in Sweden supporting HAKO at this event,” said Tom Worthy. “The knowledge and professionalism of the greenkeepers here is impressive and it’s rewarding to demonstrate how SISIS machinery can deliver reliable, long-lasting results. Events like this highlight the importance of strong partnerships. Working with committed dealers such as HAKO ensures that turf professionals receive not only the right equipment but also the service and support they need to achieve the best playing surfaces.”
The day reinforced the essential role of dealers in connecting professionals with equipment that genuinely improves surface quality and playability, while also underlining SISIS’s commitment to supporting turf care communities worldwide.
With thanks to our Swedish partners at HAKO and to all who attended, SISIS looks forward to building on these strong relationships across Europe and beyond.
